Mad moment man clings to moving bus after spotting girlfriend with another man

A video shows the nerve-wracking moment a man jumps and holds on to a bus after he apparently thought his girlfriend was cheating on him.

The shocking footage shows how the man takes off his helmet, puts it next to his parked motorbike and starts following the bus on foot in Barranquilla in Colombia's Atlantico Department. Local media reports how he spotted a man he believed to be his girlfriend's lover on the public vehicle. It's unclear whether the man's girlfriend was on the bus too.

Terrified passengers then start screaming as the young man, who has not been named by local media, grabs onto the small, open slide window on the right hand side of the public bus. He's wearing a t-shirt, denim cutoffs and sneakers in the footage, which is captured by one of the people on board the bus.

Commuters appear to be urging the angry man to let go as the bus starts accelerating, while other people are, controversially, telling the driver to go faster, according to local media reports on 23 February. After failing to open the window anymore, the furious man then points at one of the passengers. He has seen his girlfriend with another man and was reportedly convinced she was cheating on him with the man he identified on the moving vehicle.

The motorcycle driver then amazingly manages to lift his right leg and upper body through the narrow window of the bus. He carries on with threats directed at the man he was accusing of being his girlfriend's lover, who cannot be seen in the video. Another man then punches the window several times, leaving the angry biker to retreat back to the outside of the open window. Still hanging onto the moving bus, he continues to address the man he believes he saw his partner with as the video ends.

Despite the commotion and even some screaming from passengers, the driver never slows down or stops the bus. It was travelling at around 25 miles an hour. It is unclear whether there has been a police investigation for violation of traffic rules.
