Prince Harry previously shared the exact moment he learned that his security was pulled following his departure from the British Royal Family four years ago.
The Duke will today find out whether he has won a High Court challenge against the Government over a decision to change the level of his personal security when he visits the UK.
Harry took legal action against the Home Office over the February 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the UK.

The couple sat down with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 (Courtesy of Harpo Productions/CBS)The Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their senior roles within the Royal Family in 2020 when they announced that "after many months of reflection and internal discussions" they had decided to "step back".

"We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," they said in January 2020. Then, months later, the couple permanently moved to Montecito in California, which is where they still reside today.
Back in 2021, a little over a year after their departure from the monarchy was announced, the couple then sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a bombshell interview where they spoke about their time as senior working royals and why they made the decision to step down.
In the interview, Harry claimed that at the start of 2020 after announcing he and his wife would be stepping down from their roles, his family "literally cut [him] off financially", with his and his family's security no longer funded.
Speaking to Oprah Winfrey at the time, Meghan said she was told by palace officials that the couple's newborn son Archie should not be given the title of prince, which also meant that he would not receive security.
"This went on for the last few months of our pregnancy, where I’m going, hold on a second... he needs to be safe," Meghan said, adding: "We have created this monster machine (of clickbait and tabloids), you’ve allowed this to happen, which means we need to be safe.
"While I was pregnant, they wanted to change the convention, for Archie. Why? There’s no explanation."
Then, Harry revealed how while the couple were in Canada following their departure from the Royal Family, he learned that their security would be cut, even though he "never thought" it would happen.
The Duke of Sussex revealed that the couple's actor pal Tyler Perry, who they were staying with at the time, offered his support. "While we were in Canada, in someone else’s house, I then got told, short notice, that security was going to be removed," Harry recalled in the 2021 interview.
"So suddenly it dawned on me: ‘Hang on, the borders could be closed, we’re going to have our security removed, who knows how long lockdown is going to be, the world knows where we are, it’s not safe, it’s not secure, we probably need to get out of here," he said.
