Travis Kelce's dad has slammed a former reality TV star over her naysaying predictions on social media about his son's romance with pop star Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs star's father Ed, stood up for him after ex "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel made some gloomy prophesies about Travis' relationship. Fans around the world have been interested in the love story between the three-time Super Bowl champion and his famous girlfriend since they started dating in September.
However, it's clear that Frankel doesn't think their love will last as she took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the union between the superstars. Earlier this month, the American TV personality addressed her 3 million followers as she claimed that the couple will face problems in their relationship.
She said that she was once in a similar situation with a man she described as "big, burly, charismatic", who needed to be "the centre of attention". She continued: "Being in that relationship made me feel like I was driving without breaks. It was just really fun and really electric, but this person just always wanted to party."

Frankel then shared even more tough love with her fans, saying: "But when you get into real life and you get into kids and marriage and things like that... it's not easy [and] relationships take work. And it's hard, because Taylor Swift is certainly a peacock. So they're really usually can only be one peacock in a relationship."
This controversial speech got a very strong reaction from Travis' dad, however, who was on hand to leap to the defence of his boy and his beau. Later, he wrote a sharp reply on Facebook calling out Frankel as he left no doubt about his verdict, saying: "Not Who TF is this troll?"
Blocking out the noise, the famous pair recently spent time together in Sydney as Taylor Swift continues her worldwide "Eras Tour". Travis Kelce enjoyed a show in Australia, where he got a friendly hello from the crowd and even swapped friendship bracelets with some of them.

Kelce dad has talked about his son's relationship with Taylor before, giving his honest thoughts on Audacy's 92.3 The Fan radio show. In January, Ed chatted about whether the couple might sign a pre-nuptial agreement in the future, while opening up on his thoughts about singer Swift.
"I think you get to a point. I don't know that Taylor is out there trying to make money, trying to build this huge empire," he said. "I think she's out there following her passion, doing what she knows and what she enjoys. People are just throwing money at her, you know what I mean?"
He also shared how the couple's fame has inadvertently changed his life, adding: "I don't know if it's crazy. Yes, he's dating Taylor. Yeah, there's eyes on you every place you go."
"I'll be [in] the grocery store, somebody will smile and say, 'Hey!' Come over and say [hi], and I have no idea who they are. That has certainly picked up and become more frequent by a long shot than the before-Taylor days."
