Officers have launched an appeal for help tracing a man wanted on recall to prison after he removed his ankle tag.
Nasar Mohammed Hussein, 33, also known as Nasser Hussein, was convicted of possessing an offensive weapon and assaulting an emergency worker in June 2023. He was released on licence, but on Thursday he removed his electronic tag and left an address in Camberwell, south London. In addition to Camberwell, he also has links to Hounslow, Clapham and Finsbury Park.
"Anyone who may have seen Nasar Mohammed Hussein, or has information as to his whereabouts, is asked to call 101, ref 4758/24FEB24. For an immediate sighting please do not approach him, but dial 999," police said. "To provide information anonymously, please contact Crimestoppers."
At the start of February, it emerged that a woman had been arrested in connection with the alleged escape of Daniel Khalife, who went on the lam after breaking out of a south London prison.
It comes as Met Police continue to investigate the escape from HMP Wandsworth last year. Detectives previously said the suspect used survival and counter-surveillance skills to avoid detection. He managed to sneak out of jail by strapping himself to the underside of a delivery van. He was caught around 75 hours after he went missing after a massive police search took place last year September.

The force announced they have arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection to assisting Khalife in his escape. Police had previously arrested a 24-year-old man who has also been linked to the incident. Neither of the suspects are members of staff at the prison, police confirmed.
Detective Chief Superintendent Gareth Rees, Head of Operations for the Met's Counter Terrorism Command, which is leading the investigation, said: "We continue to carry out a thorough investigation into the full circumstances of the alleged escape of Khalife, and we have now arrested two other people as part of this.
