Prince Harry 'left out' of King Charles’ contingency plans as 'none involve him'
Prince Harry is said to have been "left out" of King Charles’ contingency plans with the plans failing to involve him entirely, according to a source.
Last week it was reported that a source close to Harry said that the Duke "would try" to help out if his father, King Charles III, asked him to. Harry is also alleged to have told friends he would step into a temporary royal role while Charles is unwell following several "warm exchanges" since it was revealed that the King was recently diagnosed with cancer.
And now a well-placed source has said that it's "highly unlikely" that the Duke of Sussex, who stepped down from being a senior working royal in 2020, will be welcomed back into the royal fold to help out with engagements on his father's behalf as he undergoes cancer treatment.

She went on to add: "There is a carefully mapped out contingency plan in place if the king is unable to carry out public-facing engagements over the coming months, and none of these involve Prince Harry."
The source went on to tell Vanity Fair: "The brothers are barely speaking so the idea of William wanting Harry to come back and represent the firm is both laughable and unthinkable."
This comes after we reported last week that sources close to William said that in the wake of King Charles' cancer diagnosis, he would be the one to take on more duties himself if needed while it is understood he believes Harry and his wife Meghan “cannot be trusted”.
"Whatever has been discussed between William and the King is private, but it is absolutely and categorically clear that he (William) would not allow Harry to return. He thought it was a bad idea at the time and he’s even more clear now.
"If anyone is going to take on more duties it will be William and that isn’t even on the agenda for now. His main focus is on his father’s health, his family and what is best for the monarchy. There is a zero per cent chance Harry is coming back in any capacity," the source added.
