A man has revealed how he makes garlic bread at home without actually using garlic butter and it's left people gobsmacked.
If there's one thing we know for sure, it's that garlic bread is always a good idea. No matter what you're eating or where you're eating it, you really can't go wrong if you add a side of garlic bread. And if there's an option for cheesy garlic bread? Even better!
If you count yourself as a big garlic bread fan, then we might have a cooking tip for you that could blow your mind.
One foodie took to X, formally known as Twitter, under the username @nefyn92 to share a garlic bread cooking hack and it went viral, garnering thousands of likes and hundreds of retweets in 2020.
He said: "Life hack - put bread under Kievs to capture garlic butter leakage and make garlic bread." It's so simple, honestly we can't believe we haven't tried doing this before.

A different user joked they were nominating the guy for an honour award for sharing the life hack, saying: "I'm going to need some details off you. There's a form I need to fill in." "Mind blown," added a fifth.
A happy X user responded: "About the first thing Ive ever read on Twitter that I will actually try! Thanks." A seventh person also pointed out that you could also cook the kiev on the same tray as chips and then you would end up with garlic chips.
However not everyone was impressed with the tip. One user pointed out that kievs didn't need to leak when cooking. They explained: "Cook the Kiev upside down and they tend not to leak." A second said they prefer to just "lick" the spare garlic butter.
This wasn't the only clever hack at the time. A woman named Empress Eyrie went viral on Facebook after explaining the simple way she saves her house plants from overwatering. In order to do this, she used a tampon. Empress simply stuck the tampon into the soil in the plant pot and it absorbed the excess moisture - preventing the plant from wilting and the roots from rotting.
