Jurgen Klopp already has plans in place ahead of his Liverpool exit, but they do not include a swift return to management at Bayern Munich.

Klopp, 56, has been at the helm for over eight years on Merseyside but sent shockwaves through the Premier League earlier this month when he announced that he would be stepping down at the end of the season.

The German has since been linked with a host of top European clubs, including Barcelona, while he is also known to have admirers at Bayern Munich, who have now confirmed that they will part company with head coach Thomas Tuchel in the summer.

Klopp had already been touted as a potential target for Bayern in previous weeks with Tuchel's position coming under scrutiny. He has long insisted that he wanted to take a year-long sabbatical upon leaving Liverpool, but speculation has persisted that he could be enticed into stepping in at the Allianz Arena.

However, Klopp's agent, Marc Kosicke, has moved quickly to quash any further speculation that Klopp could join Bayern in the summer following confirmation of Tuchel's exit.

He told Sky Germany on Wednesday: "Jurgen Klopp will not coach any club or national team for a year after this current season. That remains unchanged."

While Klopp is planning to stay away from football after his departure from Liverpool, he made it clear he won't be putting his feet up in the coming months after sharing his plans to get involved in two building projects.

Klopp is building a holiday home in Mallorca - his favourite holiday destination - and is also constructing another house in Wiesbaden near Frankfurt. Klopp and his wife, Ulla, have grand plans to transform the former into an environmental haven.

The Liverpool chief conceded in his exit announcement that he was "running out of energy" after his long spell at Anfield, saying: "I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff. I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take.

"It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again.

"After the years we had together and after all the time we spent together and after all the things we went through together, the respect grew for you, the love grew for you and the least I owe you is the truth – and that is the truth."
