EastEnders fans are convinced they've rumbled who has the meat thermometer Linda Carter used to kill Keanu Taylor at Christmas amid fears of an exit for a much-loved character

EastEnders fans have worked out who has taken the Christmas murder weapon - and fear it'll leave to a surprise exit.

Fans of the BBC soap know Linda Carter killed Keanu Taylor after he attacked her friend Sharon Watts at Christmas, leading to a shock exit for Keanu. The Six hid his body under the café and claimed he had run away after attacking Nish Panesar, who was in the main part of the Queen Vic and struggling to breathe after being attacked by Denise Fox.

At the moment, only The Six women - and now Johnny Carter - know about what happened this Christmas, but in a recent episode, Johnny left the women puzzled and worried when he told them that the meat thermometer, which Linda hid upstairs after using to kill Keanu, wasn't where she had left it, setting them into a huge panic.

Some fans are convinced Dean could have the weapon after he was in the pub on that fateful Christmas Day, whilst others believe Johnny is hiding it to keep his mum in the clear from all that's going on.

However, fans have now come up with a brand new theory and think a sinister face could have the thermometer, which will no doubt lead to some trouble for Linda if Nish does have the weapon. Spoilers have revealed that Nish calls the police next week, with fans now fearful he might nab the weapon and get Linda sent down for life.

Back in 2022, her on-screen husband Mick Carter - played by Danny Dyer - appeared to die in a heartbreaking Christmas episode, and at the time, Kellie admitted she wasn't sure what that meant for her character going forward.

"So the meeting came about a month after Danny had left, and I definitely felt a bit like... 'Oh, I don't know what I'm going to do now'. And 'Who do I get to play with' and 'I wonder what the future holds for me here'. It was just a strange time and when we had this meeting I literally went, 'Oh, I'm excited, I am totally in,'" she explained.

"And I really did feel excited about it, it was just so nice to do it all together, honestly these women are beyond brilliant in every way, holding each other up behind the scenes because it has been a lot. I do feel like we've really looked after each other."
