Kagney Linn Karter, a well-known adult film actress, has shockingly passed away. Kagney, aged just 36, died on Thursday at her home in Parma, Ohio.
Her pals revealed the devastating news on a GoFundMe page, stating it was suicide, based on reports from TMZ. They also wrote a touching tribute, explaining that Kagney struggled with mental health throughout her life. They stated: "Unfortunately, despite all of her many impressive accomplishments and talents, Kagney struggled with mental health issues as the years passed by."
Megan and Rachel, who set up the GoFunMe page, shared that even in tough times, Kagney continued to attend classes at Ecole de Pole Cleveland and Ecole de Pole Akron, her pole dancing studios. She was "always ready to learn, contribute, better herself in whatever small way she could manage."

Megan and Rachel said that the last time Kagney participated in a class was on February 7, less than two weeks before she took her own life.
Kagney first entered the adult film industry in the mid-2000s and bagged several AVN awards for her performances. She also modelled and performed at exotic clubs over the years. In 2019, Kagney left LA and returned to her pole dancing roots, becoming a regular at a studio in Ohio. Megan and Rachel wrote that Kagney "immediately warmed to the studio and all the students with an effortless grace." They added that it felt as if she had always been a part of it.
Later, she launched her own studio as she stepped away from the world of adult film. Kagney focused on the art and athleticism of pole dancing, sharing her own progress and talent online. The news "sank like a stone in our hearts" to those in the studio and to them, her death feels "unnatural" and "too difficult to accept".
On February 10, she posted a picture of herself on Instagram which would end up being her final post. The caption read: "Hi from Florida," showing her in a baby pink bikini, standing on a beach with the water around her feet. She struck a pose with her hands on her hips with straight hair held back by sunglasses.
