Meghan Markle's childhood unveiled by cousin and she looks just like son Archie

Meghan Markle's magical childhood has been unveiled in new photos that see a young Duchess looking extra cute and content with her parents, and with one of the snaps showing Meghan bearing a striking resemblance to her son Archie.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, grew up in View Park–Windsor Hills, Los Angeles. She attended Hollywood Little Red Schoolhouse, and at the age of eleven Meghan and her classmates wrote to Procter & Gamble to gender-neutralise a dishwashing soap commercial on national television.

But aside from that, Meghan's childhood was spent mostly with her mother Doria Ragland after she and her father Thomas Markle divorced when Meghan was just six. At the age of nine, Meghan then moved in with her father, who cared for her while her mother pursued a career. She then went to university at the age of 18.

And now, in previously unseen snaps obtained by MailOnline, Prince Harry's wife has been seen as a newborn baby for the very first time. In the snaps, Meghan can be seen while getting cradled by her grandmother on her mother's side, Jeanette.

Another photo shared by the publication shows the young Duchess peering up at the camera while donning a black hoodie. In the snap, Meghan looks a lot like her young son, Archie.

Meanwhile, another snap saw her with her father, whom she is now estranged from. Meghan and her father have not spoken since the Duchess married Prince Harry in April 2018. At the time, the retired lighting director suffered a heart attack and was unable to attend his daughter's wedding in England.

The Duchess' cousin, Shawn Johnson, has spoken out about what Meghan was like as a tot, with him saying how she was "always really sweet" and how she "had a star quality about her".

Speaking to the outlet, Shawn went on: "She was infectious with just the way she was and really mature for her age. She was always really looking after us and making sure that we're all doing fine."
