Kim Kardashian has become a style icon in recent years, with fans flocking to stock up on all of her latest fashion releases.
The 43-year-old Kardashians star started her career working as a closet organizer for Paris Hilton. After finding fame in reality TV, she found herself with a number of connections in the fashion world and eventually started her own billion-dollar clothing company, SKIMS.
Since then, Kim has gone on to work with the likes of Dolce & Gabbana. She's also picked up a number of fashion awards, including the CFDA Fashion Award's Influencer prize in 2018. In 2022, she received the Innovation Award for SKIMS. But Kim hasn't always favoured luxury fashion brands.

During this time, she would also be seen matching her pal Paris Hilton as they made a name for themselves on the party scene. Kim has since admitted she looks back and laughs at her early outfits.
"I love my worst moments now. I look back and have to laugh; it was so much fun. It was who I was, what I could afford and what I knew at the time," Kim told Vogue Arabia in 2018.

In 2007, Kim made headlines when the sex tape she made with her ex-boyfriend Ray J was leaked. The move ended up propelling Kim and her family into the spotlight and they were given their very own reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
"Oh my God, okay, this is so embarrassing," Kim said as she looked back at her outfit for the series premiere. Speaking to Vogue in 2019, she added: "I probably borrowed this dress at Dash, kept the tag on or just re-tagged it, and then returned it afterwards."

She turned into Kanye West's muse during their romance (FilmMagic)As Kim quickly became a household name, she started favouring more high-fashion outfits. When she started dating Kris Humphries in 2010, the reality star turned to diamond jewellery and glamorous gowns.
After her split from Kris, Kim eventually moved on with rapper Kanye West. Throughout their romance, the Flashing Lights hitmaker turned Kim into his fashion muse.
He completely overhauled her wardrobe and got rid of anything that didn't meet his standards. Kanye even got rid of hundreds of pairs of Kim's shoes in the process.
Kim admitted that the wardrobe overhaul brought her to tears, but she eventually embraced her new look. Kanye introduced his partner to top designers and introduced her to the world of high-fashion. When Kanye and Kim tied the knot, he turned her into his model for his clothing brand Yeezy.

After years of covered-up looks, Kim embraced a sexier style after welcoming her second child Saint West. She also leant more and more into designer brands.
During the 2019 Met Gala, Kim made headlines as she stepped out wearing a wet-look Thierry Mugler dress to mark the designer’s first creation in 20 years. While the dress gained a lot of praise from fans, it caused a rift between Kim and Kanye.
In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, he blasted the look as being "too sexy", but Kim made sure to stand her ground. However, it was the beginning of the end for Kim and Kanye.

She also launched her own clothing brand SKIMS (SKIMS)When they split in 2021, Kim had to start making her own fashion choices. She admitted it was terrifying at first to pick her own outfits. "I’m having panic attacks, like, ‘What do I wear?" she told her sister Kourtney on one episode of The Kardashians.
She added: "How do I wear something that hasn’t been pre-vetted first?" Kanye issued a number of attacks against Kim's looks and even offered to "quit everything" to be her stylist again.
Kim declined and turned herself into a “futuristic alien Barbie”. She worked closely with Balenciaga before later partnering with Dolce & Gabbana to create her very own vintage-inspired collection.
In 2022, Kim also made headlines around the world as she stepped out at the Met Gala wearing Marilyn Monroe's famous gold gown. Only time will tell what Kim's next iconic fashion move will be.
