Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to a victim of the shooting in Kansas City.

The mass shooting occurred during Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs' victory parade in the city on Wednesday. Multiple people were injured and one person was killed. Two suspects are now in custody, and it's believed that several children have been shot. No members of the Chiefs team, their families or staff were affected by the incident.

Taylor's boyfriend Travis Kelce released a statement shortly after news broke, but the Blank Space hitmaker hadn't yet commented on the horrifying ordeal. But now she's let her actions speak louder than words, donating an eye-watering amount of cash to one of the victims on GoFundMe as she arrived in Australia.

Donating to the Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial page, Taylor sent $50,000 in the early hours of Friday morning before sending another $50,000 just minutes later. It's thought she made the payment while touching down in Melbourne after her 12-hour flight.

"Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift," she penned alongside the generous gesture. The family's modest $75,000 target has been overtaken, all in memory of the 44-year-old victim.

"This fund has been set up to benefit the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan," the page reads. "Lisa was celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl Victory parade when senselessly killed. She is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many."

"We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life. This fund will help provide vital financial support to her family as they process this unthinkable tragedy. Any amount is appreciated," it concludes.

Following the tragic incident, Taylor's boyfriend Travis took to X, formerly Twitter, sharing his heartache and condolences for the fans impacted by the shooting. The NFL star wrote: "I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me."

Before her gesture, some fans were upset at Taylor's silence over the heartbreaking incident, while others shared a more concerned take. Following the event, many Swifties shared their fears that the shooting could've been an assassination attempt targeted at the superstar. Some theorise that this was a targeted attack on the singer after MAGA conspiracy theories claimed she was working with the Democrats to "rig" the Super Bowl outcome.

Fans took to X following the shooting, with one writing: "Why hasn't Taylor Swift commented on the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs' celebraion?" While another said: "I bet this is related to unhinged folks who have been incited by Republicans due to #TravisKelce and #TaylorSwift relationship! Nuts."

A third wrote: "Just a thought, but, based on past experience, anyone else think the hatred/ignorance shown to Taylor Swift/Kelce & KC Chiefs & NFL over FOX and #MAGA for past weeks has a connection to shooting in KC today during the parade? It's pure #CULT behavior."
