Meghan Markle is said to have taken the first steps in overcoming her feud with the Princess of Wales and it seems Kate is "open to reconciling".
The sisters-in-law developed a fraught relationship after Meghan and her husband Prince Harry issued a number of attacks against the Royal Family in their Netflix docuseries. Harry also hit out at Kate and her husband Prince William in his debut memoir Spare.
However, with Princess Kate recently spending time in hospital for abdominal surgery, Harry and Meghan are said to have realised "life is too short". A source said this is "a starting point" for the couple to mend their relationship with the royals and Meghan is already said to have reached out to Kate and King Charles, who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

It seems Princess Kate could also be thawing in her feud with Meghan.

However, a second source warned Kate is only open to reconciling "to a point". They told the publication: "Kate is open to reconciling, though with Harry more so than Meghan. She still has some hurt feelings over what Meghan did to her and Charlotte. There is work to do, but she's willing to move forward."
Meghan and Kate had a dramatic falling out just days before the Sussexes tied the knot. It was reported that Meghan had left Kate in tears after making comments about Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress.

Kate is said to have told Meghan there was a "problem" with her daughter Princess Charlotte's dress. She's then alleged to have said all of the bridesmaid dresses needed to be "completely remade."
Meghan admitted she had been "hurt" by Kate's actions, but said the Princess of Wales had eventually apologised. Harry explained the situation in his memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex said he had found Meghan crying "on the floor" after an argument with Kate over bridesmaid dresses.
Speaking to US Magazine, a source suggested Kate will reconcile with Harry and Meghan if her husband is open to the idea. They said she misses Harry and always viewed him "as a brother figure", but they insisted she "won't meddle" when it comes to Harry and William's fractured relationship.
