Tyson Fury's five-fight plan has been rubbished after the Brit pulled out of his Oleksandr Usyk undisputed clash.
Heavyweight champion Fury was scheduled to fight Usyk this Saturday in Saudi Arabia but pulled out after suffering a cut in sparring. Fury has since taken to social media to deny any retirement plans, claiming he will fight Usyk twice before turning his attention to domestic rival Anthony Joshua.
Fury also wants to run it back with Francis Ngannou having been dropped by the former UFC champion last October in a controversial points win. British boxing legend Carl Froch has questioned Fury's fight plan as he thinks the 35-year-old has slowed down in his past few fights.

“There’s appetite for all of them fights," Froch told talkSPORT. "Usyk obviously, the rematch will depend on how that first one goes. If he gets badly beaten, outboxed, he might think that’s the end of it ‘cos I ain’t got the desire or the energy to get back into the ring’. He’s got enough money to sit on a desert island for the rest of his life. Where is he mentally?

“We move on from the Usyk one, you’ve got the Anthony Joshua fight. We still want to see Fury against AJ but that’s based on how the fight goes with AJ and Ngannou, and how Fury does with Usyk. Potentially two fights with Usyk and then two fights with Anthony Joshua.
"I don’t think we’ll even get one fight with Anthony Joshua. But he’s talking about something that potentially could happen because that’s what we want to see. And then the rematch with Ngannou, and that will be dependent on how AJ does with Ngannou. There's too many variables, not to mention the names involved."
Fury's undisputed fight against Usyk will now take place on May 18 whilst Joshua fights Ngannou next month. Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn believes all signs point towards Fury vs Joshua if both men can win their upcoming fights, despite a two-way rematch clause being in the undisputed contracts.
