Stacey Solomon has revealed she's hung up her singing boots.

The star, who first stole our hearts with her stunning rendition of 'What A Wonderful World' on The X Factor in 2009, has said she won't release any new music. She was mentored by Dannii Minogue and performed hits like Coldplay's 'The Scientist', Dusty Springfield's 'Son Of A Preacher Man' and Queen's 'Who Wants To Live Forever'.

Stacey, 34, went on to have a successful showbiz career from I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! to hosting her own popular show Sort Your Life Out. In this programme, Stacey helps families declutter their homes in just a week. She loves her new role and has no plans to return to music, despite still enjoying singing.

"I love singing but I don't love it as a job," she admitted. "Does that sound weird? I enjoy it but I find it so nerve-racking to do it for a job. I much prefer being in the presenting role. I love meeting and talking to people." Now, 15 years after her X Factor debut, Stacey has transformed from a struggling single mum to one of TV's biggest stars.

Alongside her husband, Joe Swash, she's raising five children: Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, 12 months. Joe is also dad to 16 year old Harry from a previous relationship. "People will say, 'Oh you work hard,'" quipped Stacey. "But the reality is I got so lucky. I worked really hard and gave it my absolute best, but I still have been lucky to have fallen into those situations where somebody gave me an opportunity. Honestly, I'm just running with it. I'll keep going until it finishes."

She has returned on our screens with a fourth series of her popular show Sort Your Life Out. The programme enables Stacey and her team to delve into people's homes, jumble or upcycle their mess and leave them with a reorganised house brimming with storage solutions.

"It's the psychological side of it that helps more than anything," she said. "There's always a reason behind the clutter. Whether that be emotional attachment or a trauma in their life that has meant they haven't been able to move forward. There's so much psychological behaviour behind why we hold on to stuff. Most of my day is figuring out why and we can have a conversation and work out how best to support them to let go of as much as possible."

Stacey frequently stays connected with the participants on the programme and observes that mostly, they do not revert to their previous habits. "When they get home they see how they could live in their home and no one ever wants to go back there," she added.

"There are people who have then ended up losing loads of weight and getting really healthy and there was a single mum who got her home together and ended up meeting somebody because she finally felt comfortable taking them back to her home," she explained. "There are so many success stories and it's not necessarily how clean they have kept their house, it's how their lifestyle changes and everything around it."
