Ant and Dec's sweet gesture for Limitless Win contestant after 50k loss
Two contestants who appeared on Ant and Dec Limitless Win were left blown away after the Geordie hosts surprised them with a sweet gesture live on air.
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returned for another instalment of their ITV game show on Saturday evening. The series features a never-ending prize jackpot, which means contestants can win an unlimited amount of money.
Following a nail-biting first performance from a couple who narrowly missed out on winning 1.25m, father and daughter duo Denis and Becca pitted themselves against the tricky questions in hopes of walking away with a huge cash prize.
In their VT, Denis revealed he'd been separated from his son Conor and Becca from her brother as the young lad chose to live in the States for the last two years after marrying his wife. He had originally travelled to America on a soccer scholarship.
The pair quickly impressed audience members and viewers with their charisma but they tugged at heartstrings after Denis shared that he misses his son and isn't able to see him as often as he would like.

Ant and Dec left the contestants gobsmacked (ITV)Thankfully, Conor had surprised them ahead of their performance as he wished them luck via video call, leaving the pair elated. Despite the pair's best effort, Denis and Becca sadly missed on winning £50,000 after answering a question incorrectly. However, the game ended on a high after Ant and Dec revealed that Conor had flown out to the UK to greet them in the studio.
As he appeared from backstage, a gasping Becca said: "What are you doing here?" Denis, 60, had tears in his eyes as he saw his son in the flesh.
Becca was left with tears in her eyes (ITV)Host Ant told them: "This is better than winning £50,000." And Denis agreed, saying: "We haven't seen him for two years, lovely. I honestly don't care about the money just seeing my son is everything to me. It's more than the money, it's fantastic."
Fans were overjoyed that the trio had been reunited. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person said: "What a precious reunion! #LimitlessWin."
However, others were disappointed by their loss. One viewer penned: "Not a nice way to end the series. #LimitlessWin." Another added: "Imagine losing £50k on national television, I wouldn’t be able to get over it #LimitlessWin."
Earlier, married couple Paul and Ellie lost out on the chance to walk away with more than £1m. The pair who had been sailing along nicely were left stumped when asked: "In the bible, according to chapter 7 of the Book of Genesis, how many people went into Noah's Ark?" The couple were left in a quandary as they struggled to think of an accurate answer.
They were contemplating locking in the answer of two but the correct answer was in fact eight and decided instead to take the £75,000 that they had banked. Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives made it onto the ark. If they had won the eye-watering cash prize it would have been the most won in the history of a British game show.
