Dajuan Calloway, who tips the scales at an incredible 400lb, bounced back with a second round KO win on Saturday night.

Calloway has weighed in excess of 400lb at his career heaviest and was making his eighth professional appearance at the Hoptown Havoc event against Antwaun Tubbs promoted by One One Six Boxing Promotions. The super heavyweight star suffered a unanimous decision defeat last time out against Jeremiah Milton in his huge opportunity on the undercard of Terence Crawford's win over David Avanesyan.

His latest appearance, set in Hopkinsiville, Kentucky, came against Tubbs, who had 17 professional defeats on his record going into the fight. And the 400lb star bounced back in emphatic fashion with a win, knocking his rival, who weighed 169lb less, down to the ground in the second round before the referee saw no option but to step in.

Calloway put in a much improved display which saw him roared on by a small crowd as he looked to lay his claim to a return win in the opening rounds. And he got his breakthrough in the second, showing some power as he unloaded on his helpless rival, whose resolve had been compromised early on.

The American, who has drawn comparisons to former fighter Eric 'Butterbean' Esch, returned to winning ways, taking him to a record of six wins and two defeats. It was the height of Calloway's career last time out, having fought on the undercard of Crawford's win over Avanesyan in December.

And it is expected he will immediately look to get out in quick succession, with another fight scheduled this month against Caleb Slaughter in Pikeville at the end of January. Calloway thanked his fans on social media after the win, writing: "Thanks to everyone that tuned in to the fight, I appreciate all the love and support, stay tuned for what's next!"

Calloway even earned praise from promoter Lou Dibella before his previous clash, with the high-profile star writing on Twitter : "The big fat guy fighting Milton right now on the Crawford vs Avanesyan PPV has the largest head I’ve ever seen in the ring. This dude Calloway is also somewhat boxing-skilled for a nearly 400-pound man."
