Meghan Markle looked set to star in a new Suits spin-off show, but sources have claimed she won't be taking part in the project after one of her ideas was rejected.
Aaron Korsh, who created the hit legal drama, has scripted a brand new show about employees at a Hollywood law firm. One character, Erica, seemed to have been created just for Meghan, but it seems the Duchess of Sussex isn't ready to make her big acting return just yet.
Sources have claimed Meghan shut down the idea of acting in the project, but she did suggest being involved behind-the-scenes with her production company Archewell. However, it's thought her idea was rejected by NBC.

However, other sources told the publication that Archewell would never have been involved in a reboot. The Mirror has approached Meghan's representatives for comment.
Aaron's new show is being developed by NBCUniversal. It's currently unclear if any of the original Suits cast will make an appearance in the new series.

Adams) and moved to Seattle. Rumours about her potential return started circulating after Patrick admitted he "hopes she comes back".
He spoke about a potential spinoff for Suits at the Golden Globe Awards and said: "Yes, yes let's go, I'll do it. Yeah I'm ready, Mike and Rachel in Seattle."
Meghan has spoken fondly about her time on Suits and even referred to the cast as her "family". During a 2017 appearance at the ATX Television Festival, she said: "We were in a group email the other day, and I was saying we'd all lived in the same corporate housing — so on top of working together, we were living together — which makes a whole different dynamic, I think. We just became this whole family right out the gate."
