Celebrity Big Brother is reportedly only a few weeks away from airing after it last appeared on our screens in 2018.
The star-studded version of the reality TV programme is back on screens on ITV1 and ITVX, thanks to the broadcaster rebooting the original format from last year. Jordan Sangha, 26, was crowned ITV's first Big Brother winner in November, following the show returning five years on from its Channel 5 axe. AJ Odudu and Will Best hosted the latest series.
In 2018, the winter edition saw Australian drag queen Courtney Act take home the crown after competing against the likes of Ann Widdecombe, Shane Lynch, Jess Impiazzi, Wayne Sleep and more. The final series, the summer edition, had Ryan Thomas winning the competition.
He was in the house with Kirstie Alley, Dan Osborne, Nick Leeson, Sally Morgan and Gabby Allen. It was the same series that saw Roxanne Pallett manipulate a playful punch situation and argue Ryan had physically assaulted her and left her in fear of further violence.

And now, it looks like the return of the competition is quicker than anticipated. Super TV, which has 30,000 followers shared the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, posting: "CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER NEWS - The launch will air on Monday the 4th of March - in exactly one month!" The statement continued: "There’ll be TWO 90-minute live eviction shows every week (one midweek and one on Fridays as before) with the Live Final on FRIDAY 22nd March!" The Mirror has contacted ITV for comment.
Mirror previously revealed that WAG Rebekah Vardy was in talks to star in the revamped series in March but after news of her deal leaked ties were immediately cut. A source said: “Bosses were prepared to splash out on signing up Becky in the hope she’d dish all on the Wagatha Christie drama. She was at the top of their lists but since the news leaked they have decided to explore other candidates.”
In 2023, ITV announced: " Celebrity Big Brother will see a new cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the iconic Big Brother house. Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move. Who will win the hearts of the nation, go all the way to the finish line and be crowned the winner?"
