Former Married At First Sight Australia star Jonethen Musulin and his wife Lilli Newman have announced are expecting their first child.
The 31-year-old shared the happy news on Instagram with a sweet photo of the couple in a snowy backdrop in Japan, where he's seen cradling his new bride's growing baby bump. Lilli captioned the photo: "Winter Baby Incoming #minimusulin," hinting at their excitement for their little one's arrival. The post was met with lots of love and congratulations from their celebrity pals, including Jon's MAFS co-star Hayley Vernon and model Tegan Phillipa.
The couple surprised fans with their wedding news in October, sharing a clip of their intimate ceremony on social media. Jonethen captioned the post: "Mr and Mrs Musulin" after they said their vows in front of loved ones. Their journey to marriage began with Jonethen's romantic proposal, which involved a room filled with rose petals and candles arranged in a heart shape a gesture that marked the start of their journey to parenthood.
The big announcement received an outpouring of love and congratulations (Instagram)Jonethen previously appeared on season seven of Married At First Sight in 2020, where he was paired with Melbourne student Connie Crayden. Although Jonethen and Lilli didn't find love with each other, they're both now eagerly expecting a baby. In similar news, fellow star Georges Berthonneau has opened up about his relationship with Peggy Rose Lawrence from the show.
In a recent chat with Closer Magazine, Georges said that plans were underway to move in together, get engaged, and hopefully start a family. "The plan is to have children. Obviously we've got to stay together, move in together and get engaged." he said. On the logistics of moving in together, Georges chuckled: "She lives at home, I live at mine. I'd have her move in with me but she has so much stuff!"

Recently, the pair went on a romantic Paris trip, noted as an "expensive three months" for Georges. He quipped: "We had Christmas, then a birthday 9 January, Valentine's Day on 14 February, and then our one-year anniversary on 1 March. It's a very expensive three months."
Despite their challenges on MAFS regarding intimacy, career decisions and family dynamics, they've stuck together. During their time on the show, Peggy admitted that she takes longer to open up intimately than Georges does, while Georges confessed feeling insecure and not "good enough" for her. Despite the setbacks, since leaving the show the couple seem to have gone from strength-to-strength with their eyes firmly set on a future together.
