Emmerdale fans are convinced they've figured out Caleb and son Nicky Milligan's downfall.
Only recently, Caleb's estranged wife and Nicky's mum Ruby Fox-Miligan showed up in the village. Soap fans will recall that prior to her arrival, Caleb and Tracy Metcalfe embarked in a shock affair despite the latter being newly married to Nate Robinson, whose uncle is Caleb. On Christmas Day, the duo were rumbled by a shocked Moira Dingle, who ordered Caleb to end his relationship with Tracy.
After being rumbled, Caleb put an end to their affair, leaving Tracy both devastated and humiliated. Later, Tracy decided to get revenge by blackmailing Caleb into supporting her nursery project or she would tell his brother Cain Dingle. However, despite appearing to be at loggerheads with their affair over, the two couldn't resist each other as they embarked on their affair once again last month.

After seeing an upset Nate, Caleb has offered him a place to stay and Ruby has been left suspicious over his split, suspecting cheating.
On Wednesday's episode, Ruby spotted Tracy and Moira talking, where she managed to trick Moira into revealing Tracy had cheated although she didn't confess with who. Later, Ruby decided to grill Nicky, who also knows about the affair. Ruby said: "Is your father having an affair with Tracy?" to which Nicky lied, shutting down the accusation.

Later in the episode, Nicky and Caleb got into an argument over Nicky having to lie to his mother, where he threatened to expose his secrets. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to speculate whether Ruby was at home and overheard the row.
One person said: "I bet Ruby is upstairs listening to this conversation #Emmerdale", a different account put: "Did Ruby not see the look on Nicky's face.... it said 'yes, dad was having an affair with Tracy' #Emmerdale" while another added: "As if Ruby is going to believe Nicky's nonsense!"
Later in the episode, Nicky and Caleb got into an argument over Nicky having to lie to his mother (ITV)It comes as Emmerdale is set for explosive scenes next week as Tracy and Caleb's affair is finally exposed. In upcoming scenes, Tracy is hurt to see Caleb and Ruby out together but feigns nonchalance. However, it's not long until Caleb and Tracy exchange a few words on Main Street, which is witnessed by a suspicious Ruby.
Ruby is feeling vengeful but keeps her mischievous plans to herself. Later, things go from bad to worse at Belle Dingle and Tom King's wedding reception as Ruby decides to cause chaos and deliberately creates an awkward atmosphere. Putting her mischievous plan into action, Ruby interrupts the reception to announce the affair between Caleb and Tracy to the entire party.... how will everyone react to the bombshell?
