Gemma Collins has fumed over a "repulsive" dog breeding facility pop star Will Young once visited - handcuffing himself to the gates in protest.
Former TOWIE star Gemma, 41, took to TikTok on Saturday to spread awareness for animal cruelty as she shed light on a puppy breeding and animal testing in an eye-opening video.
The GC urged her thousands of followers to sign a petition to enforce stricter laws and punishments to individuals who test on animals and those who breed puppies for the sole purpose of making money from them.
After educating herself more about the crisis, Gemma told her TikTok followers that she hasn't been able to sleep at night after witnessing a number of horrendous and 'vile' videos which showcase what the poor and innocent dogs go through.

"And if you have got a dog, or a cat, or any animal, I'm urging you to sign this petition because this all has to stop and it has got to stop now. It upsets me so much. I have not been able to do a thing today, because it just has to stop.
"If you have a heart, you must sign this petition and save these Beagles. What these animals go through - the testing and just the way they're treated by humans is repulsive, it is sick."
"And there needs to be much stronger consequences and laws for people that mistreat animals," Gemma pleaded.

Former Pop Idol star Will Young previously handcuffed himself to the gates of the controversial puppy breeding facility back in 2021 to protest against medical experimentation on animals.
Will, 42, padlocked himself to the gates of the MBR Acres research site at Wyton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, in a bid to hit out against cruel animal testing.
The Evergreen hitmaker held a poster in his hands reading: "Cambridgeshire. Famous for beagle torture. Thanks to MBR."

Will handcuffed his right arm to the gate of the facility as protestors chanted 'Shut down MBR' and 'Blood, blood, blood money' loudly nearby.
He spent an hour and a half at the protest, but freed himself after a discussion with four police officers.

Before leaving, he said: "I want to use my profile to help show what’s going on so people can do something about it."
The singer is an avid dog lover, and back in 2020, he rescued two dogs from America which had been facing euthanasia.

Following the protest in 2021, Will later told Metro.co.uk: "I wanted to bring attention to animal testing and the fact that this is a puppy farm that farms over 2000 beagle puppies a year to be sent out to their inevitable torture and death.
"People do not know about it in this country and that is why I’ve handcuffed myself to the gates."
MBR, or Marshall BioResources, breeds between 1,600 and 2,000 beagles per year.

The innocent puppies are exposed to and fed various substances to measure the effects of repeat exposure on the liver, kidneys, lungs, heart, and nervous system.
Horrifyingly, many of the dogs are then killed at six months old.
