Prince Harry broke a major royal rule when he ruined his bond with Kate Middleton with his "snide remarks" about her.
In his memoir, Spare, the Duke Of Sussex took aim at Kate as he accused her of "stereotyping" his wife Meghan Markle. Harry accused Kate - who was one thought to be a peacemaker between him and his brother William - of creating a barrier and divulged details of an argument about bridesmaid dresses that left Meghan in tears.
In the book he also states that Kate asked Meghan to apologise to her for saying that she had "baby brain" after the birth of Prince Louis and that she "grimaced" when Meghan asked to borrow her lip gloss. The revelations all led to a "complete breakdown" of Harry's relationship with Kate according to one royal expert.

Harry and Kate previously shared a 'close bond' (UK Press via Getty Images)Katie Nicholl previously expressed her belief that Kate is "very disappointed" in Harry for not remaining private about family matters. She told The Sun: "When you think of the personal revelations, and I think you can call them snide remarks made about Kate in Spare, Harry broke the one rule and that is staying silent on family matters.
"While Kate and Harry used to be very, very close, there's been a complete breakdown of that relationship. I don’t think Kate does angry. I think it is more a case of feeling very disappointed, very let down and feeling hurt knowing that she had no right of reply - and Harry knew full well she had no right of reply.
"I do know that William was very angry that Harry had drawn Kate into it when he felt Kate was blameless throughout. She acted very much as the peacekeeper, she tried to get the brothers back on an even keel and for Kate to be dragged into this mucky saga was upsetting for her and certainly did infuriate William."

Harry rushed to LAX airport to jet back to England to be by his father's side arriving on Tuesday after an overnight flight and briefly meeting with Charles for "30 - 45 minutes" before his father jetted to Sandringham.
Buckingham Palace released a statement confirming the King was unwell and would be beginning treatment immediately after the disease was discovered while he was undergoing treatment for a benign enlarged prostate. The statement read: "During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.
"His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.
"The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible. His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer."
