Good Morning Britain fans blasted the show's focus on Prince Harry's return to the UK after learning of King Charles' cancer diagnosis.

Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley hosted Wednesday's show, with the presenters addressing the Duke of Sussex's return after Buckingham Palace announced Charles' cancer news. The ITV show questioned whether Harry should return to royal duties following the news of his father's diagnosis, but viewers weren't impressed.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, GMB asked: "Prince Harry has rushed to be by his father's side after learning of the King's cancer diagnosis. The Princess of Wales is also currently recovering after an operation. Is it time for Prince Harry to step up and return to royal duties?"

One frustrated viewer replied: "I think he should be able to visit his own father without speculation and judgement. This is his father. He's a human being. He should be allowed to visit his own father rather than be under scrutiny."

"Can we also have nobody cares option to vote for as well please thanks," another vented while a third said: "This ridiculous ! Step up?!? Why should he after how he has been treated by them. He’s come to see his father that should be enough!"

Referring to GMB's coverage of Harry's alleged 45-minute meeting with his father, another viewer said: "Sad that the media is concentrating on, and criticising how many minutes Harry spent with his father, instead of praising him for flying over to see him, despite their differences."

Someone else shared: "I literally am sick to death of constant Harry bashing. How the hell do you, I or anyone know what he said did or does with his family. I’m always falling out with my brother. I don’t live in his pocket. Please just leave them alone there are more important issues to discuss."

"What a ridiculous poll! He has come over to see his dad, why would he even think about carrying out royal duties even if he was asked, which would never happen! There will never be a trusted relationship between him and the other royals after his book and Netflix," another viewer said.

Harry arrived in London after an overnight flight from the UK following Buckingham Palace's announcement on Monday that the King had been diagnosed with a form of cancer and would step back from public duties for treatment. Charles and Harry are said to have met for around 45 minutes before the king left for his flight to Sandringham.

It's understood there are no plans for Harry to meet his brother, the Prince of Wales, during his visit to London while Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex is expected to stay in the US with the couple's two young children.
