Harry's rush to UK is 'greatest thing ever' after Charles' cancer diagnosis
Prince Harry's return to the UK after King Charles' cancer news is the "greatest thing ever".
The Duke of Sussex was one of the first people to be told about the Monarch's health condition before Buckingham Palace made a rare announcement at 6pm on February 5. A spokesperson for the King stated that His Majesty chose to share the news in a bid to dispel any speculation as he urgently undergoes treatment.
Despite tension between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family, Prince Harry made the decision to quickly leave his home in California and return to the UK to be beside his dad and his brother, Prince William, while his wife Meghan will stay at home with their two children. Despite previously criticising Harry, socialite and television presenter Lizzie Cundy has praised the dad-of-two.

At a time like this when any family member has this terrible health news, Harry is doing the right thing to be at his side.
"I really think the two brothers (Harry and William) should put everything aside and put their father first. Hopefully, now they can move on. I think it'll be a wake-up call for Harry, it'll make him realise how much he loves and misses his family." Lizzie, a former friend of Meghan Markle continued: "Maybe he'll look back at his past and think maybe he shouldn't have done certain things such as the Oprah interview or the book.

"He'll realise what he had here in the UK, I think it'll make him rethink things and we might get an apology. But ultimately, it is the best thing Harry has ever done." The King is said to have told his close relatives about his news personally, with Princess Beatrice and her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi being seen at Clarence House, where the King and Queen Camilla reside.

Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer. His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.
"Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual. The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure. He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.
"His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer." While he is out of action on the public front, His Majesty will continue to be supported by Queen Camilla, Prince William, Prince Edward, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh and The Princess Royal.
