Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are using their ambition to "secure creative opportunities" one expert believes, after it was announced there's more to come from their partnership with Netflix.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed an exclusive £80million contract with the streaming service when they stepped down from the Royal Family and started a new life in America. Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria has revealed the couple are currently working on more projects.
"They actually have a bunch in development," she said at an event in Hollywood to announce Netflix's upcoming projects. "They have a couple of unscripted things they're working on with Brandon [Reigg]. And they actually have like a bunch of development, they have a movie in development, a [scripted] series that they're working on."

She told The Mirror: "If it is true that Harry and Meghan are working on multiple projects with Netflix, this would signify a strong and growing working relationship between the couple and the company.

"This collaboration demonstrates that Netflix sees value in their content and believes in their ability to create compelling programming. It would also suggest that Harry and Meghan are successfully leveraging their global popularity and unique perspectives to secure creative opportunities in the entertainment industry."
She also praised Meghan and Harry's decision to focus on a wide range of projects. "The diversity of the projects they are involved in, including a scripted series, unscripted shows, and a movie, shows their versatility as well as their ambition. This would indicate Harry and Meghan are not limiting themselves to a specific genre or format, but are instead exploring various avenues of storytelling," she explained.

She also suggested the couple can focus on their charity work through their Netflix partnership. "They have a desire to use their platform to bring attention to important issues and amplify underrepresented voices," Mayah said.
The expert added: "Harry and Meghan have been vocal about their commitment to social justice and positive change, and aligning themselves with a prominent platform like Netflix provides them with a significant platform to promote their causes and raise awareness. This announcement, if true, suggests that Harry and Meghan are making substantial strides in their Hollywood careers.
"While they already had a prominent public profile due to their royal status, this collaboration with Netflix would allow them to transition further into the entertainment industry and expand their influence beyond the realm of royalty. It's also worth pointing out that their ability to secure multiple projects with a major player like Netflix indicates that they are gaining credibility and recognition within the entertainment world."
