The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have been dealt a new blow to their brand, it has been revealed.
Since stepping down as senior working Royals in 2020, the Sussexes' popularity in the United Kingdom has plummeted, with their brand continuing to spiral downwards since they moved across the pond to the States. And now it has been revealed that their image isn't improving, according to new statistics.
In a new poll, which was carried out by Ipsos and taken as King Charles and Princess of Wales recovered in hospital from health scares last month, the Sussexes' popularity reached new lows. According to reports, almost half of people asked weren't very keen on Prince Harry.

The couple's popularity has plummettedAlmost half, 47 percent to be precise, of those questioned have an "unfavourable opinion" of the Duke of Sussex, with just 23 percent of those asked holding a "positive opinion" of him.

Meanwhile, his wife Meghan's popularity has also dipped, with 54 percent of those asked holding an "unfavourable opinion" of her. And only 18 percent of those surveyed revealed they thought of her in a "positive" light, showing a five percent drop since the last poll.
Meghan's latest polling percentage is now her lowest ranking in the past five years, with the former actress likely taken aback by this scoring.
This comes as the couple tries to rebuild their brand in 2024, after a tumultuous 2023. Last year, the Duke and Duchess began the year with Harry's memoir, Spare, hitting bookshelves and causing a commotion due to the number of bombshell claims he made within the controversial tome.
Also in 2023, the couple saw their multi-million-dollar Spotify deal come to an end after just eight episodes of Meghan's Archetypes podcast. Last spring, the streaming platform's head of podcast innovation and monetisation even labelled the couple as “grifters”, which was likely another blow to the couple's brand.
Then, the couple ended the year with Omid Scobie's book Endgame causing drama. The drama was sparked when an "error" in the Dutch translation saw King Charles and the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton named as the two Royal Family members who allegedly raised "concerns" about the skin colour of Harry and Meghan's son Prince Archie.
