Gladiators returned to our screens earlier this month for the game show's latest revival, with three episodes of the brand news series having been broadcast by the BBC so far.
It's however due to be among the programmes affected by a sporting event this weekend. There's set to be changes to the TV schedule in the coming days following the launch of the annual Six Nations rugby championship on Friday. The competition will run from February 2 to March 16 this year, with the first games to be held on Saturday. It means that some shows that typically air in the same slots on BBC and ITV have been removed from the schedule or moved.
Gladiator won't be airing in its usual time slot on Saturday amid changes to the schedule this weekend (BBC)The first match will be between England and Italy at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, with it set to be broadcast on ITV from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Whilst the next game, between Wales and Scotland at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, will be broadcast on BBC One from 4pm until 7.10pm.
The Weakest Link and Pointless Celebrities don't feature in the BBC's schedule amid changes due to the second match of the Six Nations championship. They weren't on last Saturday either, though that was seemingly due to Big Night of Musicals by the National Lottery covering their slots.

It won't air at its usual time of 5.50pm though, as that's in the middle of the match. It's instead been pushed to 7.10pm, with the fourth episode of the series set to begin straight after the match.

It will be followed by Michael McIntyre's Big Show at the later time of 8.10pm. Casualty will be broadcast around the time that it usually does, with it scheduled to air at 9.10pm on Saturday. That's ten minutes earlier than last weekend.

The game show - which follows the format of ITV's original series and the first revival in 2008 - features a host of new Gladiators. It's been filmed at Sheffield Arena and includes returning physical challenges as well as some new ones.
