Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been issued a warning about making a "juicy" documentary with Netflix about their Royal past.

According to new reports, Netflix's chief content officer Bela Bajaria recently spoke at an event, revealing that the Sussexes - who signed a multi-million-dollar deal with the streaming platform in 2020 - are working on "a couple of unscripted things" including a film and a series that are all in "very early development".

Asked at a preview event in Hollywood what was next for Prince Harry and Meghan, whose contract with Netflix ends in 2025, she replied: "Oh, what are they working on? They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon."

She added: "And they actually have, like, a bunch of development, they have a movie in development, a (scripted) series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie’s great."

And now Hollywood guru Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR has weighed in on what the projects might be, with her exclusively telling The Mirror that a second series of their Harry & Meghan docuseries might be likely, while issuing the couple a warning.

"It seems that Harry and Meghan are putting all their energy this year in upping the ante with their TV production company Archewell Productions, however, they’re currently on the lookout for a new production manager after Bennett Levine quit," she noted.

"So, instead of moving over to Paramount when their Netflix deal ends in 2025, could the couple be trying to secure an extension with Netflix?"

She then said: "We know Netflix are after ‘juicy’, content from Meghan and Harry in the form of a feature documentary about their Royal past. But in order to rebuild their image the couple should stay away from this.

"So perhaps their unscripted shows could be a second series of their Harry & Meghan docuseries and a documentary about Africa that Harry is keen to make.

"But all eyes will be on the couple’s debut movie and, if that goes well, Netflix could well extend their deal, but they’ll have to stay away from public appearances with competing streaming companies."
