Prince Harry has been warned against criticising the Prince and Princess of Wales as his wife Meghan Markle is rumoured to be working on a tell-all memoir.

The Sussexes took aim at several members of the Royal Family in their explosive Netflix docuseries, with Harry further attacking his family in his debut memoir Spare. It's believed Meghan is now gearing up to "set the record straight" about her time in The Firm by writing her own memoir.

Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell believes it's "inevitable" that Meghan will "write her side of the story" after being "absent" from Harry's book. He said the Royal Family need to be ready for the "explosion" that Meghan's rumoured memoir could cause.

He also said Meghan's book will do "even further damage" to the royals and "rock them even more". Speaking to The New York Post, Paul then slammed Harry for his past comments about how Princess Kate adjusted to life as a royal.

"I understand why they are upset, because Kate went to great lengths to find out if a royal life was for her and it caused her issues, but they both worked it out and she committed herself to a life of public service. This wasn’t a case of fitting the mold — it's a case of finding the right person to do the job," he said.

Paul insisted Princess Kate is "doing an amazing job" in the Royal Family. He also suggested Harry will "come to regret" the attacks he made on his family.

It's possible Meghan will open up about her relationship with Kate if she decides to release a memoir, focusing on one particularly explosive row. Meghan and Kate have developed a frosty relationship over the years, with reports suggesting the Duchess of Sussex made the Princess of Wales cry just four days before her wedding to Harry.

However, during a dramatic interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan said it was actually the other way around. The former actress admitted she had been "hurt" by Kate's actions. Harry explained the situation in his memoir, Spare. The Duke of Sussex said he had found Meghan crying "on the floor" after an argument with Kate over bridesmaid dresses.

Kate is said to have told Meghan there was a "problem" with her daughter Princess Charlotte's dress. She's then alleged to have said all of the bridesmaid dresses needed to be "completely remade."
