Former UFC star turned bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry is waiting patiently for Jake Paul to sign a contract to fight him.
Perry, 31, posted his side of a signed a bout agreement to face Paul on Twitter last week. A location and venue for the fight were not included in the bout agreement, but it stated the fight would take place at 185lb on February 18. Perry asked Paul "where he was at" in the tweet whilst going on to write: "I signed a contract to fight Jake Paul but he changed his mind."
Paul hasn't addressed the contract Perry posted online and the American is now seemingly pushing for a fight with Love Island star Tommy Fury on February 25. Despite talks of a fight between them going cold, Perry is still optimistic it will take place as he told MMA Fighting: I think it happens. I don’t know what I can and can’t say [because] I want it to happen, but there was supposed to be a really cool location and that intrigued me.

Perry fought 15 times for the UFC but parted ways with the promotion after winning just one of his last five fights. 'Platinum' has since crossed over to bare-knuckle boxing where he is unbeaten in the ring, winning fights against Julian Lane and former Bellator MMA champion Michael 'Venom' Page. Perry has also beat accomplished boxer Michael Seals in a mixed-rules fight for Triad Combat since his UFC exit.

Perry has clearly taken confidence from the spar however, as he thinks a clash with Paul makes for a "great' fight.
“Jake’s got five pro boxing fights, if you could call them all pro boxing fights,” Perry continued. “He’s gotten a lot better since he’s been competing, he’s training all the time. I sparred him once, and I think it would be a great boxing match. I can’t lie, I’m a bare-knuckle boxer, and I like to punch without anything. But with the gloves on I feel like I hit harder, and I think it would be interesting to see what I could do.”
