The draw for the FA Cup fifth round has been completed with Liverpool handed a favourable draw against Championship opposition.

Jurgen Klopp saw his side dismantle Norwich 5-2 at a fervent Anfield still reeling from the news their manager will be stepping down at the end of the season. The Reds are still chasing silverware on four fronts in a bid to end Klopp's final campaign on a high and they will now meet either Watford or Southampton in the next round.

Manchester United survived a scare at League Two Newport County, who battled back from two goals down to draw level until two late strikes sealed a win for the Red Devils, who will face Bristol City or Nottingham Forest up next.

Chelsea still have to navigate a replay with Aston Villa and the winners of that tie will tackle the victors of Leeds United vs Plymouth Argyle. Manchester City will travel to Luton Town, while sixth-tier Maidstone United will take a trip to Coventry or Birmingham.

Here's a recap of the draw in full and reaction.

Maidstone boss disappointed by draw

Maidstone United manager George Elokobi admitted that he was disappointed after the non-league outfit failed to land a plum FA Cup fifth round tie.

The Stones boss has masterminded a dream run in the competition for the Kent-based side, who play in the sixth-tier of English football. Maidstone had already beaten Barrow and Stevenage from the EFL before stunning Championship high-fliers Ipswich Town on Saturday to reach the fifth round of the cup for the first time in their history.

Maidstone were hoping to draw one of the Premier League big boys in the next round - but Elokobi and co will instead have to make do with another Championship away day in the former of either Coventry City or Sheffield Wednesday.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the draw, Elokobi, formerly of Wolves, admitted he wanted to draw his former club after they beat West Brom in the Black Country Derby earlier on Sunday afternoon.

Antony frustrates team-mates

Antony was back amongst the goals and bagged an assist for Manchester United against Newport County.

But his exploits in the fourth round tie did little to mask his failings at Rodney Parade, which saw him frustrated two United team-mates with his actions.

Antony had failed to score or assist in 22 previous games this season and the £86million winger's presence on the scoresheet in Wales will be a welcome boost for Erik ten Hag.

But our reporter David McDonnell feels Ten Hag may have bigger concerns to contend with...

Shearer tears into Rashford

Alan Shearer has torn into Marcus Rashford and accused the Manchester United striker of "wasting his talent" after missing the trip to Newport due to illness.

Reports revealed that he had been in Belfast in midweek to visit a nightclub shortly before the United squad travelled to south Wales.

Speaking to BBC, Shearer said: "If it’s an internal matter, you’d think something is up. There’s a huge talent in there with Marcus Rashford. We’ve seen him be disciplined last season when he was late to a meeting before a game but something is clearly wrong - either at home or in his relationship with the football club.

"He can’t keep doing this, he can’t keep wasting his talent because it’s not right. He needs strong management, someone to get hold of him and tell him there’ll be huge regrets come the end of his career if he continues doing this."

Antony receives brutal dig

Manchester United star Antony was on the receiving end of a brutal dig by BBC commentator Guy Mowbray who suggested the winger's right foot was "practically not there."

He came up with a first-half assist to allow Bruno Fernandes to score early on. Then, with the game in the balance at 2-2, Antony reacted quickest to the ball rebounding off the post to tap home with 20 minutes to go.

But Antony still couldn't escape criticism as commentator Mowbray observed how one dimensional he is due to his desire to use his favoured left foot. "If Antony got on a bike he'd just cycle around in circles wouldn't he?" Mowbray quipped. "Because his left leg is brilliant and his right leg is practically not there."

Van Dijk on Anfield atmopshere

Virgil van Dijk has praised the Anfield atmosphere after Liverpool played their first game since Jurgen Klopp confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the season.

Van Dijk told ITV: "It was the first time since the announcement that the manager was back in the stadium seeing all of the fans. It was always going to be a bit different. Within the squad, nothing has changed. It was very emotional on the day.

"As a squad, we have a lot of targets to achieve. Let's give it everything we have. The manager is her until the summer. We have to deal with the noise. It's my job as captain to make sure it doesn't reach our players."

Jones on "perfect" afternoon

Curtis Jones has reflected on a "perfect" afternoon for Liverpool as they romped to a 5-2 win over Norwich in the FA Cup to book a fifth round tie against Watford or Southampton.

He told ITV: "It was a perfect game. There were loads of goals scored and we didn't have any injuries."

Liverpool 5-2 Norwich

Liverpool will face either Watford or Southampton in the FA Cup fifth round after they secured a 5-2 victory over Norwich at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

It's half-time at Anfield and Liverpool narrowly lead thanks to goals from Curtis Jones and Darwin Nunez.

This does mean, however, that the FA Cup fifth round draw is fast approaching and will take place in a couple of minutes...

Wallace on crowd trouble

West Brom midfielder Jed Wallace has issued his verdict on the crowd trouble against Wolves after the Black Country derby was suspended by over 30 minutes.

He told ITV: "You focus on the game and then it's kicking off. A lot of the players were distressed because that's where their families sit. They were worried about their children, that's why you could see some of them running over."

O'Neil on West Brom vs Wolves chaos

Wolves boss Gary O'Neil has issued his verdict on the chaos which struck during the second-half of their 2-0 win over West Brom.

The game was suspended for 35 minutes after trouble struck in a number of areas at the Hawthorns.

O'Neil told ITV: "Really disappointing, up until that point it was a good tie with good atmosphere. Not really sure what happened, the ref advised us to leave the pitch.

"We don't know exactly what happened, how people behave at football is really important and we need to look at that, make sure everyone is safe. When we came back out the atmosphere had gone, it was really sad to see.

"I couldn't really see what was going on, I know that the West Brom players' families were in that area which is a concern.

"I really hope everyone's OK, I'm not really sure what stoked it. We got the fixture played without any more trouble happening."

Liverpool vs Norwich underway

The second game of the day is now underway...

It's Liverpool vs Norwich and the first Reds game since Jurgen Klopp announced he will leave the club at the end of the season.

Bartley rescued kids in crowd

The Black Country derby was suspended after fighting caused the referee to take the two teams off the pitch.

Matheus Cunha had just scored a 78th minute second goal for Wolves who looked to have wrapped up their FA Cup Fourth Round tie against rivals West Brom when trouble flared. Two Baggies’ players ran over to the corner of the Halfords Lane and Brummie Road End of the ground where their families are believed to be housed.

As stewards battled to keep the situation under control, police ran from the Smethwick End to join in. But they were soon facing a battle on two fronts as a melee erupted in the East Stand next to the Smethwick End which housed 4,000 travelling Wolves’ fans.
