NFL fans found dead outside friend's home 'saw something they shouldn't have'
The parents of a Kansas City Chiefs fan, who was found frozen to death outside his friend's house, have claimed their son "saw something he shouldn't have".
David Harrington, 37, was discovered dead outside Jordan Willis' home on January 9, along with Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36. The trio were found while Willis claims he slept for nearly 48 hours inside the house, only learning of the deaths when police performed a welfare check. Harrington's father, Jon, said: "[Harrington's mother] and I are both convinced that Jordan Willis played a part in this somehow."
"We just haven't figured out how yet. ... What else could it be? Perfectly healthy men don't just drop off the face of the Earth. There were four of you in the house and now three of them are dead and you're not. That doesn't add up. "I'm thinking that he, the three of them learned something or saw something that they shouldn't have seen, and he decided, 'Well, I need to get rid of you now.' Friends or not."

He has spoken with Platte County Prosecutor's Office and believes officials will dismiss the deaths as a drug overdose, according to the New York Post. "I don't think it's as simple as that," Jon stated. He added: "I'm aware that they may have done some substances that were questionable - but the idea was to get high, not dead ... If they were supposed to be friends, why didn't [Willis] come find them. I'm sure they have a hundred different answers to that, but that's my question."

Jennifer Marquez, Harrington's mum, has also commented on Willis' claim of innocence, suggesting he stayed at home for two days to "clean up evidence". She said: "When you tell the truth, your story is solid. It's when you're lying that your story changes, and that's what's been happening. I don't understand why the police don't see that."
No one has been arrested for the deaths yet, and Willis hasn't been charged with anything. The police in Picerno say Willis has left the house he was renting because he's scared of "retaliation".
The police said they do not currently suspect any foul play and stressed that Willis is "100 percent" not a suspect in the case. They are waiting for autopsy and toxicology reports to help clarify how the four men died.
"He would never in a million years do anything," said Willis' father, as some family and friends of the deceased called for the homeowner to be investigated by police. Jennifer Marquez, the mother of one of the deceased, expressed disbelief at the homeowner's version of events: "Nobody believes this story. None of his friends, none of the families, none of us believe it," with others echoing her sentiment.
Willis's dad has defended his son, saying he is also grieving the loss of his friends. He dismissed rumours that drugs were involved and that Willis had a part in their deaths, with Willis' lawyer calling these claims "ridiculous".
