Jurgen Klopp has delivered a bombshell by announcing he will leave Liverpool come the end of the season.
No one saw the German's announcement coming with his deal tying him down until 2026, but with his exit now confirmed an element of nostalgia shall begin. Klopp has certainly treated Liverpool fans to some iconic moments en route to winning the Premier League and the Champions League.
Given the work he had to do when he arrived, the German coach has turned the Reds into one of Europe's dominant sides, playing his unique brand of football that we saw previously at Borussia Dortmund. Liverpool have ripped through opponents, producing some legendary nights at Anfield as well as on the road.
Whether it be early in his tenure when the shoots of his brilliance were beginning or several years later when the Reds had firmly become a well-oiled machine, some of the games Klopp has been in charge of will go down in Liverpool folklore. Fans must've thought life peaked when they won 5-0 at Old Trafford the season previous and then followed it up with a 4-0 success at home months later. But with United beginning to get their tails up last year they were given the reality check of their life.
