The source told MailOnline : "Whether or not legal action will be taken is being decided but there is one thing that is clear: these fake AI-generated images are abusive, offensive, exploitative, and done without Taylor's consent and/or knowledge."

They also mentioned that the Twitter account which shared the images no longer exists, adding how "it is shocking that the social media platform even let them be up to begin with".

The source insisted that the pictures "must be removed from everywhere they exist and should not be promoted by anyone". They said Taylor's loved ones and fans are angry.

They also mentioned that new rules need to be made: "The door needs to be shut on this. Legislation needs to be passed to prevent this and laws must be enacted."

Taylor's supporters want her to sue the people who made the fake photos. A fan posted online: "Beyond the moral corruptness of making AI porn of anyone, you chose Taylor Swift? She is not the one to play with about her likeness and she could absolutely usher in the legal/cultural backlash needed to stop this and, rightfully, make an example out of you."
