Claudia Winkleman shows off new fringe as Traitors star screams 'stop it'
Claudia Winkleman's fringe is getting more powerful by the day, with The Traitors host unveiling some seriously heavy new bangs ahead of the penultimate episode of the BBC series.
Woman of the moment Claudia, 52, took to social media this morning ahead of the next update from the Scottish castle airing on BBC One this evening - sending fans and Traitors stars wild with her latest iconic fashion choice.
Posing in the grounds of The Traitors castle in a striking shaggy, tiered cloak, Claudia's famous fringe looked longer and thicker than ever as she stood alongside some creepy masked extras. "Did someone say fringe? The Traitors continues on @bbcone tonight at 9," the Strictly Come Dancing host captioned the stunning shot on Instagram.
The stylish star then shared a video of herself spinning around in her eye-catching cape, telling fans of the garment: "If you would like this object it’ll be in the @comicrelief auction in March. It’s very good for twirling."

Fringing for daaaaaaaaays," one of Claudia's followers gushed in the comment section. Brian, who was banished by the Traitors earlier this month, was clearly blown away by the star's look, simply screaming in all caps: "STOP IT [clap emoji." Claudia's bosses at Radio 2 even got in on the action, with the BBC station's official Instagram account commenting: "FRINGE FOR DAYS!"

Claudia has become as famous as her hair over recent years, with the Head and Shoulders ambassador usually seen flaunting her blunt fringe, heavy eyeliner, bronzer, and nude matte lipstick. She doesn't seem to have any plans to alter her look anytime soon. In fact, Claudia told the Mirror in 2021: "When I'm orange, I feel better".
She revealed that her makeup inspiration comes from her mum, journalist and editor Eve Pollard. Both mother and daughter share a love for "an orange glow". Claudia recalled: "Like me, my mum loves an orange glow, so I remember her swirling huge brushes of orange over her face and thinking it was the most glamorous thing ever."
She shared: "I go to bed with my make-up on, it makes me have better dreams. Then I wake up, do the school run, have a nap, then I'll shower and take my make-up off. With my hair, I don't even dry it. If I'm pushing the boat out I might brush my fringe." Claudia views her signature look as a form of "armour" for her job, believing that it "desexualises" her.
At the Cheltenham Literature Festival, The Traitors icon explained: "If you've got a fringe and been spray-painted, you're winning... it totally desexualises you. I don't want to be sexually attractive, I don't want to be cute or sexy. I want to be Yves in Lyons. It helps with ageing. My face is falling off... I don't care. I love getting old but I will still be the orange one with the fringe. I've got three pairs of the same black jeans, plain sweaters, a fringe, orange face, black eyes, white mouth like I've kissed a bottle of Tippex, and I'm good to go."
