"They said I was dead initially on the side of the road. I was in a coma for then for five weeks and then got told I had severe brain damage. The injuries I had were horrific and I was told after my accident that I wouldn't walk ever again. And I told the doctor that I would walk again and I did it." "So if somebody tells me I can't do something I am very determined and competitive. I strive to be the best I can and win." Later in the episode, Andrew revealed that last year, he met the man who saved his life during an emotional reunion. He told the camera: "I shook his hand and said thank you for saving my life. There are not many people out there who get a chance to see somebody who saved their life and say thank you. It was a very emotional thing.
"I've had hundreds of people messaging me to say that they found my story inspiring and that's led them to open up and start talking to their family. I want to inspire people, I believe I can inspire thousands and hopefully, with this exposure, millions of people."
