Fans have hailed Ciryl Gane's "amazing" impression of UFC veteran Nate Diaz after the heavyweight's clip went viral.
Diaz fought out his UFC contract last September by choking out rival Tony Ferguson and has yet to make a decision on his fighting future. The Stockton native became one of the most recognised faces on the UFC roster having shared the octagon with the likes of Conor McGregor and Anthony Pettis since joining in 2017.
And in a video which has attracted huge attention online, Gane elected to do an impression of Diaz with the video captioned: "Gane>Diaz." In the video, Gane can be seen hilariously copying Diaz's infamous pose with his fists in the air while pulling a facial expression that replicates the one of the UFC legend.
He then turns away from the camera to flip his fingers to others around him, before walking away with an almost identical stance to Diaz. Fans were extremely impressed with the impression, with one writing: "This is amazing lmao." Another agreed: "That's actually really accurate." Another added: "Damn. Cyril gonna be an actor after he retires, huh? Excellent job."

One fan claimed: "The walk and stance are literally identical!" Another added: "You can tell he's a fan and thats awesome." One even praised Gane's own personality in the UFC, adding: "The most wholesome fighter in the UFC." One fan even joked: "Ciryl Gane speaks better English than Nate Diaz lol."
Diaz currently has an uncertain future in the world of combat sports having departed the UFC in pursuit of more lucrative fights in the boxing ring or in the cage. Since his departure, Diaz has been heavily linked with a boxing clash against YouTube star Jake Paul whom he wanted to fight while tied down to the UFC.

Paul recently signed with MMA promotion PFL and offered Diaz a two-fight deal to compete in both the squared circle and the cage. However Diaz appeared to play down the potential of any PFL clashes, by suggesting he will instead join Japanese promotion Rizin who have hosted several of Floyd Mayweather's exhibition fights.
The 'Problem Child' said in his call-out: “I would beat Nate Diaz up in a MMA fight. There’s nothing he could do. The biggest thing for me would be getting the kicks down. But I’m going to start now, moving forward with some extra time I have within this camp. I’m going to put in some extra time, rolling around doing some jujitsu and learning some kicks.
"First, we box. Then six months later we fight MMA in the PFL 'smart cage' and lay it all on the line. If that's not balls, then I don't know what is. Nate Diaz, I'm down to fight you in your own damn sport. It's a two-fight deal, let's make this happen."
