Jason Kelce clears up McDonald's story after fan theories run wild
Jason Kelce has cleared up that he doesn't simply drive around with signed Philadelphia Eagles shirts, nor does he have a favourite McDonald's employee, after fan theories ran wild.
The NFL centre, left his brother speechless after explaining his side of the story to brother Travis, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, on their 'New Heights' podcast..
The story follows a previous report that Jason surprised Danielle Bonham, a McDonald's employee, with a signed Eagles jersey a week ago while buying breakfast at the drive-thru. The jersey had a message saying: "To Danielle. Go Birds! Thank You."
On the podcast, Jason, aged 36, clarified that it was wrongly assumed that Bonham is his favourite employee and that he carries around signed jerseys in his car. He has now explained what really happened.

“I just went to McDonalds like I usually do, Danielle had a jersey and I was like 'yeah of course I'll sign your jersey, Danielle!'. It got miscommunicated,” he said. “That's not what happened, I've gotta clear that up. I don't just have signed jerseys in the back of my car.
"The first time I ever pulled up to that McDonald's, Danielle was crying profusely when she was taking my order. She's a huge Birds fan. They were tears of happiness. She's awesome. I've gotta say this, they said she was my favorite employee, I love all my McDonald's employees!
"I can't do that to any of the wonderful workers. Danielle is definitely one of my favorite fans. She always gives me these little photographs, gave me some nice cards, wrote me a wonderful letter.” Astonished by the story, Travis replied: "Nice! Holy f****** nice!"

But that wasn't all, as her hero Swift waved at her from the VIP box. The eight year old and her mum Jessica Piazza appeared on "The Today Show" where she spoke about a night she will never forget.
“I was thinking positive, but some of my friends weren’t that positive,” Ella said of her hopes to meet Swift at the game. "Then [Jason] came over here and then he picked me up and then I saw Taylor. It was, like, amazing.”
