Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are alleged to have made a "calculated" appearance to "get attention" while attending a film premiere in Jamaica last night, a Royal expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen chatting to Bob Marley's family last night (January 23) when they attended the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Kingston, Jamaica. The couple was seen smiling and holding hands on the red carpet, with the loved-up parents looking totally smitten.

Harry even posed for pictures with Ziggy Marley, the son of Bob and Rita Marley. At one point, the Duke was even seen chatting to Ziggy about how he enjoyed the premiere - something we exclusively revealed with the help of a lip reader.

And now, Royal Commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has spoken out about the couple's "calculated" appearance at the event. Speaking to Daily Express US, Mr Fitzwilliams said: "There is no doubt that with the Hollywood Reporter stigmatising them as 'losers', Harry and Meghan are in limbo.

"Their appearance in Jamaica was a surprise but seemed more calculated to get attention during a difficult week for the royal family. It isn’t an attempt to restart their careers, they currently have no careers in Hollywood."

This comes after a video of the Duke of Sussex chatting to Ziggy circulated online, with a lip reader revealing what the Prince told Bob Marley's son as they leaned in for a sweet embrace. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, lip reader Jeremy Freeman has revealed that Harry said: "We did have a great time. You rock Bob Marley!"

Commenting on the video - which had no audio - fans have reacted to Harry and Ziggy's sweet moment at the premiere in Jamaica. One person wrote: "Love this," while another said: "That's what we like to see. Harry and Meghan out here living FREE."

This comes as the world reacts to the Sussexes' surprise appearance in Jamaica for the premiere of the new Bob Marley movie, which will hit cinemas in the UK on Valentine's Day (February 14).
