'Jeans and a nice top' is a look many women have declared as their go-to evening outfit for years and in Frankie Bridge's latest fashion round-up, the ITV star gave us some serious inspiration for the wardrobe combo we all know and love. With jeans, shirts, waistcoats and vest tops being put to the test, one particular item - a strapless black top, caught the eye of her fans with many of them begging to know where it came from.
The Elliana Black Strapless Button Front Tailored Top from Club L London has the look of a dinner jacket but without the sleeves or collar - and it's so sophisticated. Ideal for taking you from the office to a night out, the £65 item has flap pockets, waist darts to flatter your figure and a hemline notch. Keeping in line with its inspiration, buttons seal you in the tailored bandeau, giving the outfit an elegant finish.
Frankie paired the top with a pair of River Island jeans, black knee high pointed boots from Mango and a Melie Bianco Larissa Woven Faux-Leather Shoulder Bag from Anthropologie in sky blue - a colour she is predicting as being the trend of spring. However the high-street top has a matching pair of Kehlani trousers in Black Cotton that would work perfectly for a fancy affair.
Sharing her look on Instagram, The Saturdays' singer posted a video reel of her modelling a variety of different outfits which she captioned: "POV: it’s the end of dry January, you’ve been paid and it’s girls night out. What are you going to wear?!

The 35-year-old was soon flooded with comments from fans asking her where her black top was from, with many showering her with praise over the stunning ensemble.
One said: "Love the first black top so much need to know where its from."
Another added: "First one is soo cute."
And a third added: "Black top and jeans, they look amazing."
The top, which comes in sizes six to 16, isn't limited to black. It comes in four colourways - black, white, stone and green and white floral if you want to make the outfit less formal. This particular look has been dubbed by the singer as throwing it back to the 90s, thanks to the inclusion of River Island's high-waisted jeans and added a chunky double-layered necklace in silver by Mint Velvet from John Lewis.
With it having such a sophisticated finish, this look is probably one that cannot be dressed down and it's made from a premium cotton blend, making it comfy and soft to wear. It is also fully lined with no stretch, so if it's too tight you may feel slightly uncomfortable by the lack of leeway in the fabric when sitting.
Bandeau tops are a great way to upgrade an outfit to make it look super-glamorous, and there are a number of shops on the high street whose versions are a bit cheaper. H&M's buttoned corset-style top has a similar vibe but will only set you back £21.99 - plus, it has a bit of stretch. Very is also selling River Island's tailored bandeau top in black with a gorgeous lapel-style front for £7 less at £38.
