The first month of 2024 may have many households feeling stretched, a worry for anyone facing end-of-year price hikes on their broadband, TV, and mobile bills. And that's where a spotted bundle in Virgin Media's current January sale will knock a mega £270 off your bill.
If you want to cut your next tariff by hundreds of pounds you'll need to opt for the provider's Mega Volt bundle, as it's currently being offered at a much cheaper £70 a month rate. Usually priced £85 this £15 price drop will quickly wrack up the pennies in savings.
It's not the only offer going, there's the £144 saving on the Bigger Combo broadband plan, and £99 price cut on its M250 broadband only-deal, not to mention its newest Samsung S24 mobile deal, offered through partner site O2, where all pre-order shoppers will walk away with a free GalaxyWatch6 - which we'll unpack further down.
The mega volt bundle is recommended for households that need a bit of everything, there's M500 Fibre broadband, more than 230 channels including the popular Sky Sports HD & Sky Cinema HD, Netflix, anytime chatter (free UK calls) and an O2 SIM packed with unlimited data.
Even the price of buying an unlimited SIM from O2 individually, for example, would work out at £25 a month, so £70 for that, broadband, as well as the Sky HD channels and a Netflix subscription make the bundle's price seem a lot better for the wallet. There's a lot bundled into the package, but shoppers don't have long to lock into the £270 saving.
