Drivers challenged to beat 15-second record in tricky observation puzzle
Put your awareness skills to the test and try to beat the 15-second record in this tricky brain teaser.
If you're a driver, you'll know that when you get behind the wheel of a car, you're responsible for paying attention to the roads and keeping track of what's happening around you. If a car in front of you suddenly breaks down, or an animal runs out into the road, it's up to you to take proper procedures to avoid causing an accident. So just how good are your observation skills? Put them to the test in this tricky puzzle that challenges drivers to find four hazards on the road in just a few seconds.
The record for solving the puzzle is 15 seconds (The AA)Take a look at the picture above, which was curated by the AA. It shows what appears to be a motorway that's full of traffic in both directions, with six lanes completely full of cars. In this image, there are four hazards that you have to find as quickly as possible in order to complete the challenge.
The AA claims that the average person manages to solve the puzzle in just over a minute, with a time of around 69 seconds. But if you can find the four hazards in less than 15 seconds, you'll have beaten the all-time record for the puzzle - putting you among the smartest minds to have taken on the challenge.
Helpfully, the AA has also told you exactly what you need to look for in the picture. Somewhere in the image is a car with a flat tyre, a vehicle that is overheating, a car with a fuel leak, and finally a pair of lost keys. So now that you know what you're looking for, can you find them all in less than 15 seconds?

If you haven't got them all yet, keep looking! We're about to give you the answers, so don't scroll any further. Even if the 15 seconds have elapsed, you can still try to beat the average time of under 69 seconds.
The four hazards could be seen all over the road (The AA)You can see all the answers in the image above. Only one of the hazards was on the top half of the image, while the other three were all located toward the bottom of the picture. Did you get them all? Let us know how you did in the comments.
And if that one was too easy (or too difficult) for you, then why not try one of our other puzzles? Only those with a "genius level IQ" can solve this shopping puzzle, while attempting to spot the strawberry among the watermelons in this brain teaser isn't as easy as it looks. If you're up for something a little more tricky, you can try to spot the animal within the zig-zag image, or you can see whether you have a 'highly intelligent mind' by working out the next number in the baffling maths sequence.
