Golf's most followed professional on Instagram, Paige Spiranac has heaped praise on LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau, after the pair teamed up earlier this week.

Spiranac - who has become one of the biggest names in golf social media - revealed on Friday that she had been joined by DeChambeau out on the golf course, with the pair appearing to collaborate for their YouTube channels. The former Ladies' European Tour star has had her grievances with the major winner in the past.

But following a post to her followers on social media on Friday, the 30-year-old instructor has had a change in heart when it comes to DeChambeau following their recent meet up.

"Have to give credit where credit is due to @b_dechambeau," she wrote on X. "I’ve publicly trolled him in the past but in person he was nothing but kind, funny, and self deprecating. Total opposite from how I perceived him over the years.

"And you would think I should know better because it happens to me everyday. I’m excited for you to see the content we’ve been shooting and an opportunity for you to get to know us both better! Coming soon." Her assessments of DeChambeau have not always been as kind though.

Speaking previously on her 'Playing a Round' Podcast, Spiranac claimed: “Bryson gets a lot of s*** and kind of deservedly.” The former U.S. Open champion's infamous comments, calling Augusta National a par-67, were also quickly shut down by Spiranac too, amid a poor run of form at the Masters.

Ahead of the opening major in 2022 the influencer once again took to X to write: "Remember when Bryson called Augusta National a par 67. Good times." On the one occasion DeChambeau did get over the line in a major championship though, Spiranac did just about offer her congratulations.

The big-hitting American dominated the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot, defeating fellow countryman Matthew Wolff by six shots. "It’s fun to give Bryson s*** at times," said Spiranac in the aftermath of the Crushers GC captain's maiden major win.

"But you have to give him so much credit for sticking to his guns despite all the hate and now he gets to call himself a US Open Champion. Well deserved win.”
