How focused do you feel right now? In order to beat the following challenge you'll need to not only be switched on, but you'll need to think outside the box.

Brain teasers and optical illusions are great for overall cognitive function, as they challenge us to look at problems in a different light.

In doing so, you'll not only improve your focus, but also your memory and problem-solving skills. But in order to get something out of it, they need to be quite tricky - and this one is no exception.

Take a look at the black and white image below. On first glance, it might just look like a side-profile of a man with a beard. But although you might have a hard time believing it, there are actually three women lurking in the image.

To make the challenge even tougher you only have nine seconds to spot them - meaning only the sharpest-eyed individuals are able to complete it. But don't let that stop you.

Solving it will challenge your observation skills and attention to detail, as you're forced to look beyond what is right in front of you. According to Brainbashers, the women can only be found by those with "supersonic vision".

So set a timer and see how long it takes you to find the women's three faces, and we're warning you now, it's not easy. Nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two one - did you manage to find all three faces?

Don't worry if you didn't, as we've posted the answer below. One face is hiding at the back of his neck, another under his nose (upside down) and the third is under his chin (also upside down).

Up for something completely different? The UK's intelligence, security and cyber agency GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters) has challenged people to have a go at a real 'head-scratcher' puzzle. The instructions are simple: Find the word - Madison, Saturn, Do, Nitrogen, Exodus.

You might be thinking, 'but they are all words'. That might be the case, but the brain teaser requires a little more thought. So take a look at all the words and see what they have in common.
