The Traitors fans have suggested that there's been a trend with the banishments on the latest series of the reality TV show, having shared their thoughts on social media.

The second series of the BBC show launched earlier this month and is now heading towards its final week. There are ten contestants remaining, including two Traitors, ahead of the latest 'murdered' Faithful being announced on Friday.

Over the course of the eight episodes so far, three Traitors have been banished at the round table. Ash Bibi, 45, was the first to be ousted, followed by late recruit Miles Asteri, 36. Paul Gorton, 36, was confirmed a Traitor more recently.

Some viewers have noted that all three were banished after other Traitors "turned on them". It has been suggested that the Faithfuls haven't been doing well at uncovering their rivals and they still have two to find before the finale.

Fans have shared their thoughts on on X, formerly known as Twitter. One person wrote on the platform this week: "This is hilarious because the Faithfuls think they're playing a brilliant game but it's the traitors taking themselves out."

Another fan said: "These Faithfuls are AWFUL. Every single banishment has been Traitor-on-Traitor violence. The Faithfuls have precisely zero skill." One wrote: "[They] haven't banished a single Traitor yet. Paul and Harry took out Ash. Paul took out Miles. Harry took out Paul. The shame of it all."

"The only way the faithfuls got the traitors out was by the traitors setting it up," someone else tweeted. A fifth said this week: "The way the Faithfuls aren't even good at this, the Traitors just keep throwing each other under the bus."

Another said: "Every Traitor has only been caught because another Traitor turned on them." Someone tweeted: "The irony that the Faithfuls are s*** at getting the Traitors. It's the Traitors themselves that have gotten rid of the Traitors."

"Anyone else think the Faithfuls are terrible at this game, it's literally been the Traitors getting the Traitors out," one fan tweeted. Another person wrote in a recent tweet: "I can't believe the only reason the Traitors have been voted out throughout this game is because another Traitor turned on them. The Faithfuls are useless."

Someone said: "Correct me if I'm wrong but all 3 traitors have been caught, not by the Faithfuls, but by the Traitors stabbing each other in the back. I love it." Another said: "The way it's only the Traitors managing to get rid of their own because the Faithfuls are DREADFUL at this game."

Ash was banished in the fourth episode. Paul and Harry voted for the fellow Traitor for a second time, whilst Miles voted for Ash for the first time at that round table. Series one star Amanda Lovett even told the Mirror that she was "absolutely livid that they turned on Ash so early".

Paul and Harry weren't the only people to share suspicions about Ash though, with the likes of Tracey Griffin having voted for her a few times. Ash has since suggested that she may have been "too trusting" of her fellow Traitors.

Miles was then banished in the seventh episode. His demise came after Diane Carson had been 'murdered,' with him having given her a 'poison chalice'. The group were made aware that she had been 'poisoned' by someone.

Diane - who didn't leave immediately after drinking from the chalice - had been suspicious of Miles shortly before her fate was confirmed. She had teased him about it, within a group, but brought it up again to Paul and Evie Morrison during the mission, which ended with her departure.

Paul went on to bring up his conversation with Diane at the subsequent round table, preparing for Miles to be banished. Evie said she didn't hear the conversation, though has since said that she had, but didn't want to be a "pawn" for Paul.

The group were told by Paul: "[Diane] looked at me and said 'if I die, then it's Miles'." He was not the only person who shared suspicions about Miles, though his remark appeared to influence others within the group. Miles went on to receive the most votes at the round table and was banished.

Miles had been further targeted by Paul at the round table over his behaviour earlier in the game. He said: "I look at mannerisms over the past few days. [...] Even little things like I've never seen you want a shield. Maybe breakfast you've never looked nervous about being killed in the morning."

Paul was then banished himself in the eighth episode, after teammate Harry "took the reigns". He spoke to a few Faithfuls about the possibility of Paul being a Traitor before the latest round table and then subsequently voted for him.

He seemed to have prepared for the banishment, including having proposed that Paul was a Traitor to Zack Davies whilst Paul and Miles were challenging each other at the previous round table. He asked the Faithful at the time: "Do you reckon there's two Traitors going at each other?"

Harry wasn't alone in sharing suspicions about Paul at the round table in the latest episode and several Faithfuls had previously suggested that the latter was a Traitor. Harry however has credited for getting Paul banished though.

Jaz - who had aired suspicions about Paul on numerous occasions - seemed to give Harry the credit for the banishment. He said to him: "You did that, y'know. [...] Harry that was you!" Harry also took responsibility, saying in a confessional: "He had to be voted out and I sort of took the reigns."

The Traitors is on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. You can catch up through BBC iPlayer. The first series and the debut series of theTraitors US are also available to stream.
