Love Island's Maya Jama explains how she got everything she 'ever really wanted'
Love Island host Maya Jama admitted she 'doesn't know what's next for her' as she shared her life mantra with fans.
The ITV2 star recently replaced Laura Whitmore as host of Love Island and flew out to South Africa to prepare for the winter series to begin.
On Thursday morning, she took to her Instagram to share her 'morning thoughts' and explained that she's living in the moment.
"Sounds a bit wild but anything I've ever really wanted in life I've got," Maya said.
"But I don't know what I want next for the first time so this is new I'm in my 'enjoy what's happening right now and think about what's next later' bag currently."

The star went on to dish out some advice on how fans could reach their goals.

She also gave tips on how to reach your goal (INSTAGRAM)"Speak out/write down/ pray for what you want," she started. "Work hard for it. Know and believe you deserve it.
"Walk away from it if it doesn't make you feel good and don't settle for anything that doesn't align with it. Applies to almost anything you desire."
A while later, she returned to her Stories to add a 'side note' about being nice to people.
"You can't be a pr**k and expect good things to keep happening either lol," the TV host said.
"I live by the 'don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to you' rule. It's easy to know if you're doing something bad if you put yourself in someone who could be on the receiving ends shoes.
"Ok that's enough of the words of wisdom stuff."
The star 'doesn't know what's next for her' (ITV)
She recently replaced Laura Whitmore as host of Love Island (BACKGRID)It comes after it was reported that Maya has been feeling nervous after landing the role with ITV2.
Before stepping foot on the plane to South Africa, she let slip to a source that she's 'nervous' after immediately saying 'yes' to the role but is determined to not be a 'carbon copy' of the previous presenters.
She is thought to want to put her own stamp on the role which is typically a huge rating puller for the ITV network.

A source told new magazine: "Maya knows she has big boots to fill taking over from Laura and the job comes with pressure, so she's naturally nervous.
"But she's a great host and really wants to make the role her own."
Previous host Laura Whitmore quit the role in August after three years after taking over from Caroline Flack, who stepped down two months before taking her own life in December 2019.
