Tony's chocolate bars are hard to miss with its bright and fun packaging - it turns out that despite the huge brand logo being plastered on big, bold lettering on the front, people still aren't clued up on the name.
The Dutch chocolate has become more popular in the UK in recent years, with its sustainable and ethical nature. It can now be found in supermarkets across the country - but it turns out we've all been butchering its name.
One woman has left people baffled after enlightening the nation on the chocolatier's correct name - and you'll never be able to look at it the same way.
Grace Louise (@grac31ouise) took to TikTok to see if everyone else had been making the same blunder as her, and joked that like her, it seems like we just can't read properly - because she isn't alone in mispronouncing it.
She captioned the video "Well this is embarrassing" as she made the revelation. Gobsmacked, she wrote alongside the video: "Is it just us who thought it was called Tony's Chocoloney?? or can we just not read". The viral video has racked over 3.1million views, with everyone all thinking the same thing as she realised it's actually called Tony's Chocolonely.
'I don't want children staying up late at weekends - I really need adult time'
"I'm confused, it's always been Tony's Chocolonely," one confused fan wrote, while another added: "I will still call it 'Chocoloney'." However others are convinced it's only just changed the name. "I think it's a batch typo it IS Chocoloney," a second echoed: "I'm confused, it's always been Tony's Chocolonely." A third quipped: "I was just saying this the other day, I swear that it has always been Chocoloney."
It's 'Chocolonely' (tonyschocolonely.com)The official Tony's Chocolonely UK & IRE account even got in on the fun and commented: "These comments are giving us life," to which Grace responded: "Why can none of us read," followed by a laughing emoji. Chocolate is always a popular treat around Christmas, and one of the most popular treats are a tub of your favourite choccys, but people are noticing the iconic tubs have significantly reduced in size.
Even though the tubs are getting smaller, it still seems like there are too many of the less desirable flavours still included. So one chocolate fan decided to take it upon himself to work out how many of each flavour Quality Street chocolates are in each tub.
Quality Street fan Charlie Murphy took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share the results of his experiment. He took eight tubs of Nestle Quality Street and assorted them into flavours to work out the average amount per tub to see how many of the favourites were included.
The ultimate favourite for many is The Purple One and Charlie noted that in eight tubs there were 40 altogether, which meant there were on average five per tub. Whereas there were 64 fudge and 64 strawberry delights which averaged at a whopping eight per tub. However, it's sad news for the fans of the green milk chocolate block as Charlie found just 32 sweets in four tubs, which meant there are roughly only five per individual tub.
