Chelsea star Broja chased by Premier League trio as Liverpool renew interest
Chelsea's recruitment drive is yet to get started in January, but the focus could be more on outgoings rather than those coming into the club this month.
Mauricio Pochettino's side are currently in the midst of a winter break following Saturday's 1-0 win over Fulham in the Premier League. They are not back in action until Tuesday when they host Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup, before games against Aston Villa and Chelsea to end the month.
On the transfer front, Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah are both being linked with moves away from the Blues, while Liverpool continue to be interested in Levi Colwill. Meanwhile, rumours over a surprise move for Al-Ittihad's Karim Benzema have circled in recent days.
Here is the latest transfer news from Stamford Bridge.
Broja interest
Chelsea are willing to sell Armando Broja this month, according to The Athletic.
Chelsea complete record-breaking Enzo Fernandez transfer after deadline day rush
The 22-year-old is a transfer target for Wolves, Fulham and West Ham, yet the Blues will only sell the Albania international if they receive an attractive offer. Broja has scored one Premier League goal in 13 appearances since his return from an anterior cruciate ligament injury earlier this season.
Broja's future is not dependent on whether Chelsea are able to sign a new striker before the end of the window, while Christopher Nkunku is expected to return from injury sooner rather than later.
Mauricio Pochettino described Broja as "one of the young strikers in England and in Europe with the most potential" after the ex-Southampton loanee scored in their 4-0 FA Cup win over Preston.

Fulham want to sign Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea, according to Sky Germany.
The defender could leave Stamford Bridge this month and hasn't played a single minute for Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino after picking up a thigh injury. The 24-year-old has two-and-a-half years left on his current contract and made 33 appearances in all competitions last term.
West Ham and Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for Chalobah, but Fulham have now joined the race for his signature. Sky report that talks are ongoing over a loan deal with an option to buy.
Liverpool not giving up on Colwill
Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has been linked with Liverpool before, and now talkSPORT report that the Reds remain interested in the youngster.
The 20-year-old's favoured position is in central defence and, while he's earned regular minutes under Mauricio Pochettino, he's predominantly been used at left-back.
Colwill was reportedly open to a move over the summer before Pochettino assured him he was part of the Blues' plans, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be happy to continue on the left of the back four.
With Ben Chilwell now back from injury, it will be interesting to see how the London club set up at the back in the coming weeks.
