New Samsung Galaxy S24 unveiled with smart features your Galaxy S23 can't match
Samsung has just unveiled its smartest smartphones ever. The all-new Galaxy S24 range (which includes a standard model alongside an S24+ and Ultra) are all powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) which lets you do all kinds of magical things automatically.
Take a phone call from a foreign country and the device will instantly translate things for you in real time. Start a voice recording and you'll get a fully editable text transcription created right in front of your eyes. It will also make bullet points of note for you and rewrite messages to make them more of less formal - perfect for sending a quick email to your boss.
Samsung's smart features don't stop there. The camera is also using the firm's new Galaxy AI to improve photos with shadows and glare removed with a touch of a button.
You can easily move objects around in photos without needing a degree in Photoshop and something called Generative Edit will fill in the blanks when you rotate a photo - that means no more cropping out empty space.
Samsung Galaxy S24 (SAMSUNG)Another useful update is the ability to add stunning slow-motion effects to any videos you have already shot. That's a neat upgrade as you'd usually have to use the Slow Motion shooting option to get this look but not anymore - it even works on old videos and those not shot on the S24.

It's all clever stuff but the upgrades don't stop there.
These new devices all feature faster processors with the Ultra getting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and the other models using the latest Exynos brains from Samsung.
The quad-lens camera on the Ultra has also been boosted to include a new 50MP lens which enables optical-quality performance at zoom levels from 2x, 3x, 5x to 10x 10 magnification.
Images shot at night should look better thanks to a larger pixel size and annoying blur is now reduced on the Galaxy S24 Ultra thanks to wider optical image stabiliser (OIS) angles and enhanced hand-shake compensation.
If you hate your phone getting scratched then a refreshed design that's covered in the latest Gorilla Glass (the Ultra gets Armor should help it survive life on the road and all models include brighter displays, up to 2,600 nits, plus Vision Booster technology. These screens also feature a 1-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate which helps improve performance efficiency.
Samsung Galaxy S24 (SAMSUNG)Bigger batteries should mean extra time between charges and fast refilling will help keep that bright screen glowing day and night.
As we mentioned earlier, there are three models to choose from including the standard 6.2-inch Galaxy S24, bigger 6.7-inch Galaxy S24+ and the ultimate 6.8-inch Ultra which features that improved 50MP quad camera, S Pen stylus and tough Titanium finish.
